Rooting after Update?

I'm sorry for another rooting thread, but I can't figure it out..

My phone was rooted before on a macbook using the instructions Cory provided and it worked like a charm.
The update, like for everyone else, didn't update properly but I guess it was auto forced while I was a sleep and now it's updated.
Problem is I need to re-root it. But it won't work and i can't figure out whats wrong I tried the same method with no avail and tried the one click fix but that's not working either

please help!

I had no problems rerooting with a mac after the update. Are you starting from the beginning of the process? You only need to do the commands that begin with ./adb shell, since the files that you pushed over the first time you rooted should still be on your Fascinate. Pick up the procedure from that point and try again

I did but I get the same results. Basically, rage.bin won't complete. after ./rage.bin it says adb will be reset blahblah but nothing happens..

How long are you waiting for it to complete? The first time I rooted it hung up at that point to, and I did a battery pull and rebooted the phone, started the process over and it worked the second time. Same thing happened when I rerooted as well.

Make sure you have USB Debugging Enabled. I Rooted then updated. Tried to re root and I got errors like you. Then it hit me...turn on USB Debugging stupid. lol

I had the same issue. My phone just froze up after the rage.bin so I just did a battery pull and continued with the instructions and I worked without a problem
