Rooting Droid 2

Hey guys, I have a few questions about Rooting my Droid 2. I tried looking up YouTube videos on how to Root the Droid 2, however I cannot find anything.

Any help I will be willing to donate thru paypal.

I would like to Root my phone and have Wireless Tethering. I know I can use the 3G Mobile Hotspot that comes on the Droid 2 for Verizon pre loaded, or I could use the EasyTether/PDANet, but that would be a cable and I would like a wireless.

If anybody could help me and lead me in the right way to do this I would appreciate it and donate thru paypal, I do have a link that shows me how to Root it but I am confused about the tethering

As of right now this is the easiest way to root the Droid 2 (I guess nobody wants to make a one-click app for it yet )

Is there any part that you don't understand or anywhere that does't seem to fit?

EDIT: oh yeah and the wireless tether app from the market is what everyone uses. Should work just fine

what's different about it? I'm just wondering I've never even thought about a different tethering app
