ok im about to root my x and i was wondering if i should just root the OTA .602 or sbf to froyo and then use z4root to root and find the 2 part tbh gingerbread files and flash those and get to rooted gingerbread..and let say i dont flash the 2 part files, can i still use prerooted roms? or do i have to do the 2 part tbh files to use those roms..any help would b nice just trying to sort those things out..

rooting the 602 would be the easiest after reading all that, although not sure which ROMS are supported so far. What is your current ROM status?
should i sbf or just hit the ota update? lol that would be MUCH easier..and i think .602 also has Apex i do believe, but hey thanks jersey u da man!
Whatever process makes you the most comfortable. It sounds like you wanna OTA to .602 so go ahead.

The one step root process for .602 is very easy. I was on a rooted .340 ROM when I decided to try out SSM-602 v.3. So I used the SBF to update to .602 with the .13p radio, and it was also pretty simple. From there I used the one click root method, downloaded D2 Bootstrapper and then installed SSM-602 v.3 from Mobile_Sensi, and I love this ROM. Its very quick and simple, and gets great battery life.
Either way, SBF .602 or OTA .602.. I think that would be much easier then flashing back to .340 and trying to get a pre-rooted .602, but thats just my opinion.

Both Sensei and Vortex ROMS are getting alot of attention now because of the MIUI issues w their latest build. Thats good, expansion of ROMs is what keeps the X in high demand developmentally.
haha beat ya..lol watching droidmodderx review..it looks alot like the sensi rom..have you used both? if so which is better in overall performace and battery
is the email working in verison 1.4.1? i sae something bout a email script that needed to be ran but im just now rooting my phone and looking for a rom, not yet got into wrinting a scripts n stuff..
ive just downloaded both roms and just waiting to see if everything is fixed with both, with vortex can u download paid apps like u can on ssm?
I'm not using either, just been following them. JkdJedi would be a good one to ask, hes using one or the other. I'm on rooted 602 stock until our MIUI fix is released. I hate blur, stock, and blur-ish roms so Im suffering until Im back on MIUI. You can read up on these 2 ROMs in Google.
lets say i flash MIUI, and dont like the way it runs or something, and i decide to flash SSM or vortex, all i have to do is just go into clockwork and wipe cache, and data and then flash the new rom?
