i suggest z4root as it is really a one and done method. If you need a copy of it. It can be found on XDA

+1 for z4 root...I loaded it on my droid 2 and this is an easy idiot prrof way to root your phone...when they say one click root system it means just that, one click.

I have used Z4Root on about 1/2 dozen devices. Samsung Captivates, Droid X, Droid 2, Epic4G. Worked very well. Download the .apk from XDA forums and sideload it.

Anyone know why they took z4root off the market? I or someone else could post the apk and the odex file in a thread here in a zipped folder if it is legal.
