Rooting Newbie..

Hello, I am new to the Forum. I am wanting to root my Thunderbolt 605.9. I have downloaded the tool and extracted it, but when i launch the bat file it just says Updating in blue font. Any ideas what is wrong? I do not want to brick my phone, i just want to get the full use of my phone with out paying verizon to unlock abilities like mobile hotspot.

i couldnt get the tool to work on this guys thunderbolt. when it was .19 and when it was .9 i just ended up using revolutionary

or htcdev method. it leaves a "watermark" but theres a guide to fix that
