So I desided to root my Sprint GTab (I have both a Sprint and Wifi GTab..........long story) with the SuperOneClick method and all went well. I had SU permissions and could use root required apps. I, of course, had to go a little further and try to flash a ROM. I noticed that I didn't have CWM on my tab so I searched through XDA to see how to do that. I found a thread on XDA (which I will try to locate when I get home) and followed the instructions but now my Sprint GTab gets stuck at the Samsung loading screen.

Any fixes? Can I unroot it?

i had this same prob when i first rooted my verizon gtab. the whole SU/app problem. i think all i did was reset and it was ok. if youre stuck at the samsung screen, try pressing the power button to make the screen sleep. i did this once and the os loaded right up, odd or just a coincidence i dont know. other than that youll have to DL heimdall. which you can use to recover your tab with the correct firmware of course. look around on XDA. even though im an AC loyal, theres a bigger Gtab community on that website. i think i found the DL for heimdall there too

Thanks! I'll try that out when I get home. I think I tried everything except putting the screen to sleep.....lol I tried going through CWM to factory reset my tab but that didn't work :(

If Heimdall does what Odin did for my Epic 4G then I have confidence in that program.

Heimdall will work for you. I think I used it a total of about 5 times this past weekend. Ha ha

did you load into recovery, factory reset, clear cache(s). then reboot?? if not try that one

did you read the fine print at the top that says you have to have kousch recovery first? search xda for sprint clockwork mod. after that you can put voodoo on. its a good kernel btw, and bluetooth hid works. just remember go to page 21 on "bauxite 1.2/1.4 kernal" and download the default sensors file and replace the one you have with a root explorer, or the screen wont auto rotate!

Didn't get a chance to try this out last night cause the Gears 3 beat consumed me.....lol

I was successfully able to brick my Sprint GTab :(

I honestly thought I followed all the steps needed but I must have messed something up. Is there a guide for restoring bricked GTabs? I know there are threads out there for restoring other Samsung devices (like the Epic 4G) but was wondering if there was one for the GTab.
