Whats the difference between rooting the evo with unrevoked3 and the regular method? I heard somewhere that unrevoked has to be run each time the phone is started/rebooted??

That's a negatory on the re-ran everytime the phone is rebooted. If I'm not mistaken, unrevoked3 uses a flaw in flash to give you root access.

unrevoked used to be that way- run on each boot up.

I'm pretty sure unrevoked does not unlock nand. That is needed for some roms

there are ways to use unrevoked and be able to still use the cyra froyo mod. just do a search for it, seemed pretty easy.

Once you root, can you unroot?

The only way to unroot as far as I'm aware is to flash an unrooted stock ROM.

If you want to Customize the rom to your liking you will can load a theme from breezy's theme sticky

If thats not your cup of tea then you'll need to learn how to Develop your own Rom or Customize someone elses either way its in the form of development...
