rooting the epic!

so i keep getting this i dont know what to do im new with android.
the phone did a reboot so i dont know if its rooted or not.

help?

check out the sdx-developers site. and use a different one click method.
one click andromeda.flasher worked for me

The update isn't to blame. 1-click rooter is compatible with di18

If you have the sdk installed...
cd to the sdk tools folder... default would be:
cd c:\android-sdk-windows\tools
then

adb kill-server

do this while the rooter is stating to restart the server. Also, use This rooter

I just rooted my Epic after the 6th try. The missing piece I found out was that I had not installed my SDK on my computer C drive. Once I did that, and ran the one-click, it finally was rooted. You can find the sdk at Android SDK | Android Developers
