Rooting the XT701?

Anyone here in the US managed to Root the XT701??

There are some things I'd like to get out of it and maybe replace it with a Milestone ROM.

Im hearing that its unsigned so we can flash a custome kernel or recovery but i havent received mine yet so cant try nothing...
