ROOTING? Will it allow me to change carriers?

I have no idea on this but if i root my phone will it allow me to change carriers? If not how can i unlock it so i can use another company? Thank you

No, The chipsets inthe phone are specific to the carriers signal. Rooting or Unlocking the phone won't allow you to use the phone on another carrier.
