Rooting with any version of 3.0 to the eemc

I rooted my NC with AutoNooter and an SD card with Honeycomb 4 with no problems. I then put the NC back to 1.1 stock and did the 1.2 update and ran ManualNooter with no problems. I updated that with the latest build, again no problems. I decided I liked 3.0 and wanted to go to 7.1's newest build a put it on the eemc. It went on nicely, following the install how to. When I booted it would boot to the Android screen and the screen would go blank with only a small blue cursor in the top left corner. Left it that way for 1/2 an hour, did a hard reboot a few times and always the same result. I did format the system/data/cache with the latest stable CW (16 GB version) and that was also what I used to do the install. Restored to last ManualNooter backup and no problems. Tried Honeycomb 4, same problem, went to encore 7, same thing and again with 80 nightly build. What am I doing wrong here, it ain't that hard. I can get any version of 2.x to work on the eemc and can get SD versions of 3.x but can't get 3.x to boot correctly from eemc. Help.
