Okay, I plan on rooting my phone (Xperia X10 AT&T and I have UniversalAndroot) I just wanted to make sure, What is the best program for Backing up my phone?

There's no need for backup when rooting. But, just for the record, I'd suggest:

• Titanium Backup, for apps backup via X10
• Droid Explorer, for apps backup via PC
• Backup Everything, for SMS and MMS
• SMS Backup, to sync SMS to Gmail
