Rotting the SG3 with a Mac....

Hello all

Im wondering if anybody can give me instructions on how to root my Verizon SG3 on Mac OSX. Tried to google it, youtube it and had no luck at all. If anyone could help me out id greatly appreciate it!

It's possible to root the international version on a Mac but I don't think it's possible for any US versions. I used bootcamp to set up a dual boot windows partition so that I could root.

I had issues trying on my Mac as well. I think it has to do with the way the phone is set up to connect the computer (MTP) and it not properly loading drivers. I had to use a spare laptop I had laying around to do it via windows.

You can use the one click method, don't even need to use your computer in that case. Generally I don't like the use of one-click methods but if you want to root and you don't want to dual boot your mac that is the only way I see it going. Dosent the executable require that i have a pc or some sort of versions of windows?

Download Adam outlers casual program the only thing is you are going to have to physically connect and disconnect your phone several times but it works great.
