Alright , ill get it out of the way,........
I really do not like Samsung software that they put on the phone. (The launcher's OK though) I want to root the phone. No custom ROM, I just need the ability to take junk out of the startup, enable and disable what I'd like (yes, with caution, not willy nilly) and backup everything.
Okay with this being said now I'm contemplating rooting this new phone.
I have the T-Mobile SM-G928T, carrier unlocked Edge+
First off what's the best way to root this if we can yet.
My main concern however is obviously the warranty. OTA updates are also a concern.
If I root the phone can I unroot it if I need to have it serviced? Samsung has some kind of root detection now don't they?
If I use a stock firmware will I still get OTA updates? If not will 'play store' still get updates?
I have titanium backup but it's not much good not rooted.
Thoughts?
