rubber feet are coming off my keyboard dock

Does anyone know where I can get replacement feet? I am afraid that the screw behind the foot will come loose and I will lose that too. And what sort of adhesive do I need to use?

Contact Asus, ask for replacement feet. I would assume they will send them out at no charge to you, if they don't, demand they don't charge you (politely).

If the feet that you have now are fine, I would assume any good glue would work. My go to glue for pretty much everything (from kitchenware to my rock climbing shoes) is Gorilla Glue.

I haven't contacted them yet, but will soon since a second foot came unglued. I restored it, and now I have a sleeve to keep the tablet in when I put it in my backpack. The biggest issue is friction with other objects pulling off the feet.

Hmm, I haven't experienced anything like that. Is the sleeve too tight? I am keeping mine in a leather bound business type binder. The type of thing that zips up and has room for business cards, a legal pad, pens, etc. It has a little sleeve portion in it and my Prime fits in there nicely, but, it's not all that snug. Since it's zipped and lightly padded, I'm never too concerned. But, have yet to have any feet come off.

So this is perhaps a stupid question, but I would nevertheless love assistance. I have the same problem as the original poster in this thread. I called Asus and they are aware that some of the keyboards do this. Unforgettably you would have to ship the keyboard in (and most likely cover the shipping costs) to have the feet replaced/ added.

So that is not an option. I found this Amazon.com: Self-Adhesive Rubber Feet - Clear Hemispherical (5mm x 11.1mm/.2" x .44") 50: Home & Kitchen Seems like what I need. Unfortunately I do not know the size of the feet. The feet on mine have the diameter of a USB stick's metal long endge. I dont know how many mm that is though. Help?

I think it is 12 mm in diameter and 2mm high. (a usb stick is 12mm long and 4 high)

Seriously? They wont ship you out replacement feet? I'd give a call back a couple of times and speak to different CSRs. Someone there will most likely eventually help you. They are just rubber feet, ya know?

Also, if you don't know how many MM it is, use a ruler to measure them, lol.

I contacted Asus customer service to ask about this very matter (and two missing screws under said feet). They sent back a list of repair and parts website addresses. How helpful.

So I checked www.asusparts.eu. Yes, they'll sell you replacement rubber feet for a TF201. You want to know how much? $Euro 7-69 !! Each. And I'm not even sure if that includes postage!

Screws are fractionally less extortionate at a Euro or so each. But you can't look at a diagram with the screws labelled by type so you can know what you need. No, you need to know the exact size, length and thread before ordering.

Can't say I'm impressed...

I lost two rubber pads off the bottom of my keyboard, so I went to Lowes and purchased some 1/2" rubber washers and glued them in with insulation glue. They are a tight fit and seem to be staying fixed after 30 days. If they fall off, they're very inexpensive. There is a hole in the middle of them, but the little screws underneath are at least half covered and are also staying put. The washers are a bit thicker than the stock rubber pads, but the keyboard is stable on a flat surface and does not wobble.

Do you have a contact number/eMail for Asus and a reference so they will send the replacement feet without a long drawn out process?
