So just want to put this out there and curious if anyone else has had the same thoughts. Lets look at the facts 1. They extended the FREE 4G Hotspot on new 4G LTE network because of issues with launch of Charge....We do not have forsure information if OTA will actually take place on 15th/16th but it was listed in Verizon notes on the Thunderbolt page and told to some customers it would take place then.
So we know tiered data was planned to come out Soon? so does it seem possible that when mobile hotspot ends they annouce the tiered plans and start them as of annoucement or shortly after. They have right now staples of their 4G launched far as phones with HTC, LG and Samsung all taking part. We have no date on the Bionic but hearing Aug / Sept and I really doubt they wait to continue with current data plans. While since most of us are locked into grandfathered current plan and when it happens does not affect us. Just curious if anyone thinks the timeframe is on track for when FREE hotspot feature goes away that tiered data will be here from Verizon.
Anyways we all know how much we can trust information Customer Service reps pass on and how far hearsay goes. I for one truly stick with the i'll wait till I see it happens before I believe something that is not offical but from what I have heard from people at Verizon the timing does seem to make sense at least as far as the month long waited OTA update to fix some issues. Why not at same time when you take away the free gift you gave for launch of the 4G network become "The Man" we all love to hate and annouce by by unlimited plans and hello tiered pricing!
