Run Windows apps via crossover app on your pixelbook

I tried it with Quicken 2016 but it didn't work. It errored out while installing dependencies, before even getting to running the .exe installer. I didn't spend much time messing with it though; I will later.

Yeah for me it worked so far, test out OpenOffice see if that works. So far this seems promising though.

So guys I figured out how to install Office 2010 successfully and other apps that are having issues installing. Please see attached screen shot.

I sent some feedback to the Crossover team via the Crossover android app and they replied. So supposedly for older software pre "Crossover" release such as Office 2010 you need to create an ISO image of the cd/dvd. Once you have the ISO image created I uploaded it to my Google drive, then downloaded it on my Pixelbook and voila I am now able to actually install it as before I wouldn't even get to the part where I could type the CD KEY. Hope this helps others, thanks.

Sorry for opening an old thread but can anyone tell me if Old school RuneScape will run using crossover? It is literally the only reason I don't have a Pixelbook
