Rust colored border

Suddenly a rust colored border appeared when the phone is fully charged and won't charge on the Pixel Stand. Any ideas?

Sounds like Battery Saver is turned on.

I will the next time it happens. I can't manually make it happen. If want weird when it happened. I had to restart to get the phone back to normal.

I believe that is the magnifier indicator from the accessibility settings. do you have the little man on the bottom of the screen? Turn it off and it should disappear

My assesabily is not turned on.

there are lots of settings under accessibility. magnifier is one and when it is turned on there is a rust border around the screen. understand that magnifier has to be activated, choice of two more settings under magnifier, and when you activate rust border comes up to indicate you can use magnifier

I must really be dense. I've tried everything I could under accessibility ok, and I can't get that rust colored border to show up again. I don't know what I did when it showed up the last time, but I haven't been able to duplicate it since. I'm not really worried about it and I thank you very much for your assistance. Thanks again

It was battery saver. That's it.

Dumb me. I just discovered that if I press the little man on the bottom right, that the rust colored border appeared. It's obvious that the ability to magnify is now there. What else can you do while in that mode. Thanks for your help.
