RUU

I am rooted, can I just do unrevoked forever, then install the RUU to get 2.2? It seems to be the easiest path. Plus, it does a clear wipe.

Why do ruu? There are already rooted ROMs based on it. Plus skyraider and cyanogen are getting ready to release theirs.

So, I should just go unrevoked forever, then update my radio. Once I do that and an updated ROM is complete, I just install via clockworkmod?

That'd the better idea but make sure you read and follow to the T because flashing radios is the most important thing to do properly. Xda has a thread with the 2.15 radio in it. I am mobile or I'd give you links.
