S Health update

Does anyone else have a problem with S Health not working on the S5 once it needs updating? Twice in the last few weeks I noticed it wasn't tracking my steps, clicking on the app made it go to the Samsung app store to update. No other app I have works like this, just stopping completely until it updates, and it doesn't notify you it needs updating, I have to notice that my steps aren't being tracked. I am trying to use S Health to see progress so not tracking steps a few days every month is annoying, and this time it lost all of my previous days data even though it's supposed to be backing up. Anyone know how to fix this, am I missing something in the settings about updates or something?

Sorry if this has already been a thread, looked at the last few pages but couldn't do a search to check properly.
