S memo sync

Does anyone know what the sync schedule is for a memo? Is it whenever you open the app or does it run in the background on a schedule?

I'm assuming it doesn't use all that much data. Correct?

I use it some but didn't realize that S memo synchs with anything. I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that S memo writes any changes to the local media on which its file resides. Does S memo synch natively to something online?

Helps when I check the Synch option. Looks like Evernote and Google Doc are the two supported "cloud" synch platforms. Looks like Synch is manually driven, although an automated schedule could probably be fired off with a task scheduler app.

Do you know if it only syncs when you open the app?
