S-note update?

I received the Kitkat upgrade, and was hoping this would update the S-note application to a newer version, like the one on the note 3. However, it seems to have stayed exactly the same. Any ideas how I can update the s-note application?

Yes i nead the new version of S notes on my N8 as i now have N4 & the 2 versions of S note wont sync! Which is a massive issue for me. Why dont samsung get the N8 upto date with the rest of the line! Its crazy situation

Just Google for the S Note apk file and install it on your Note 8. I found it and successfully installed it on my Note 8 and S4 Active. I believe there may have been a thread here at AC about the new apps that came out for the S5 and how to sideload them.
