S notes are locked when opening S notes from Note 3 on a Note 2

Hello all,

First time post so sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have a Note 2 T-mobile flavor unlocked and using it with ATT. When I receive a S Note from a Note 3 (any carrier) and try to open them on my Note 2 they are locked with a password, even though the S Note coming from the Note 3 does not have a password. If I receive a S Note from another Note 2 it opens fine, this is only if they come from a Note 3 and it doesn't seem to matter what carrier they have. Anyone else have this problem?

Can you post a screenshot? I haven't seen SNote ask for a password before, but I have seen it lock up some notes because they come from a different software version (like the Note 3's, which is newer). I'm assuming the newer format is not compatible with the Note 2's SNote (when you open a Note 2 SNote file on the Note 3, it says that it's converting the file to the new format).

PS: I used the word 'Note' way too many times in this paragraph.
