Is there a use for the "clicker" end of the S Pen? Or just acts like a real pen? Novelty?

Yes, you have to press in in so it can be removed from the phone. Then when you insert the pen, you click it in, so it is flush.

Appeals to the fidget-spinner part of the brain. Same area that gets satisfaction from popping bubbler wrap. And yes guaranteed to annoy people within earshot. Great ice breaker for boarding meetings.
