Is anyone else's S-Pen near the tip getting scratched after inserting and reinserting it from the phone?

Yeah definitely, mines blue

Here's one of the scratches near the tip. As an FYI the lighting in this photo makes it more noticeable than it is.

Pretty gentle with my pen, It seems as it's the S-Pen containment chamber that is causing the scratches.

Is it possible that some foreign substance got inside the sleeve?

Also, if it got scratched by insertion both sides should be scratched unless:

* you're putting it in the same way every single time

* The pen is uneven

* What caused the scratch is gone

Yeah maybe something something inside the chamber of the SPen , mine looks like new

Do you have a case on it that your spen could be coming in contact with when inserting and taking it out?

I'd say that something got into the chamber or it happened when using it and you just didn't notice it

I can see veeery slight scuff marks in pretty much the same position as your picture, on both sides of mine. No paint coming off though, and I can only see it when I'm looking reaaaally up close, but there's definitely some friction there.

Yours looks a lot better even taking into consideration that OP said their picture makes it look worse than reality.

Yeah, but it's in the same spot (both sides), so there IS friction there. I can see how getting this at an angle could make things worse.

I use mine daily, multiple times a day. Aura Glow with blue pen. No scratches that I can see.

It's not dirt, already tried to see if it will run off and it won't. There must be some friction causing it inside the Pen chamber.

Not that big of a deal for me, just wanted to see if anyone else's pen is experiencing this and it looks as a few have the same thing.
