S Pen not opening applications

My S Pen, when I select an application for it to open, by holding the S pen button down, does not open the application.

The S Pen is charged and it shows as an active icon in the top tray, but I can't get it to open any of the selected applications by holding the button down

Anyone else experiencing this??

The S Pen doesn't open applications like that. Go to S pen settings so you can find out what you can do with your S Pen.

Operator error........... I was clicking the top of the pen........ and not the function button in the middle of the pen......
