S Pen Question

I have an S8+ and am thinking of the Note 9 rumored to be releasing this July or August. I have long used a stylus for use in games for more precise contact. Can the S Pen be used in apps not specifically designed for it?

Yup. It's a screen tech so you can still use it on nay app. Any further S-Pen optimization or features stil would need to be programmed into the app (like button shortcuts or additional actions if using S-Pen), but the increased touch precision of using the pen will be there on any app.

Nah, doesn't work with every app. Not sure why but I've got a Yahtzee game that it doesn't work with at all

That makes no sense unless the app actively disables screen touches when using stylus (or is poorly coded to reject 'tiny' touches, expecting a larger touch area). The S-Pen literally acts as a very fine finger on top of the display.

Agreed. Had notes since the 3, same app didn't work with the SPen on my Note 5 and 8. No clue why, not it doesn't.
