S-pen to zoom in and out

i understand you can double-tap, hold then scroll up and down to (zoom in and out). however i can not get it to work even 50% of the time.

is there a real trick to do this?

I have had issues try YouTube. I've seen some videos on it and seeing it might help more than trying to describe it to you.

I did watch youtube on how to do this, but frankly, I can not get it to work most of the time.
