S10+ Always On stuck in landscape

[Android Central Question]

Hey all, only when AOD kicks in does my phone get stuck in landscape. I have auto rotate enabled in my drop down menu.

Thoughts?

Does the phone get 'locked' into landscape? or AOD? AOD now comes with a setting (regardless of your AutoRotation selection for the rest of the phone) that allows you to set whether it shows in portrait or landscape. If you do landscape for AOD, you might have to jolt the phone a bit when you wake the screen to make it realize it's not in landscape if that's the case.
