S10+ and Android Auto

I have a 2018 Ford Explorer with the Sync 3 system and it has Android Auto.
I had a Note 8 and just switched to the S10+.

With my Note 8 I would get in the car in the morning when it was dark and by the time I got to work it would be light out. Android Auto automatically would switch from dark mode to daytime mode. Now with the S10+ I have to switch it manually.

Am I missing something?

Had same issue...turn off "night Mode" in the pull down settings. Its on the second screen.

Yes, if you have "Pie" and have night mode on, Android Auto is always night as well....which I personally like. - Happened on my Note 9 after pie update as well.
