S10+ and spiking CPU

My S10+ (Android 10) CPU utilization sits around 30% with nothing going on, then spikes to 100% about every 20 seconds consistently. Temps range from 33c to 41c which I think is normal. Just wondering about this CPU spiking and what it could be?

Hi there,

What app are you using to check the cpu? Is it reliable? Perhaps there is some background activity from apps installed.

I am using "CPU monitor" and "device info" to get the CPU information. I have also used several others and they all have the same results.

A re-boot doesn't help.

Other than this the phone runs great, no lag, no glitches etc.
