After a pretty beefy update a couple of weeks ago, my Galaxy S10+ is losing battery much more rapidly than it did previously, and it's taking right at 50% longer to charge, using a fast wireless charger. I'm not sure if there's an app that's causing the drain, but I'm guessing it's something more fundamental, since it's also charging slowly. Is this Samsung's way of pushing me to upgrade with planned obsolescence? Is there a know bug with the upgrade (currently on Android 12)? I've tried to look at battery usage by app, but that seems to no longer be an option, unless it's moved and I'm just no seeing it. The screenshot attached is where I used to go to find how much battery was being used by which app, but it's gone.BingWallpaper (1).jpg

When developing a major problem like that, after a major update, I would factory reset to make 100% sure the problem, and any others, are gone for good. You could end up potentially fighting that issue for the foreseeable future.

But I also run a very lean phone, so factory resets are pretty easy for me.... I know that's not the same for everyone :-\

if the issue persists for a week or more then I would immediately report issue to samsung members app > get help > error report to see if it's something software related issue caused by the update. The point is to report soon as issue is observed
