S10+ battery question: Does it stop charging when it's full?

Everything I do is wrong.
Cause people can't pay for anything.
That's my fault.
They made sealed phones.

I agree with you that sealed phones are an issue.

But being able to afford something doesn't mean it's cheap. I buy my phones outright, and (this isn't a flex) could easily spend 100 on battery replacement. But unless we're talking about a currency like Indian rupees rather than dollars, pounds or euros, 100 is an absolutely ridiculous sum of money for a battery replacement.

I buy universal unlocked phones outright too.
Want to be able to use them on any network.

Seems the people at the stores turn them upright and look at them from different angles ..so they can offer you less money.
I say.
Forget me trading a phone in.
As easily as I can trade a phone in with you.
I can trade it in directly with Samsung..

Just sell me a phone.
I will sell my phone on the internet.
Your making a bad name for yourself.
I get on the internet and complain to Samsung.

Don't bust my chops trying to give me less money.

I've honestly got no idea what that has to do with batteries.

I've also never traded a phone in or sold one... I have replaced the battery on a few though.

With her* answer, lol. But all good! I am by no means an expert in the world of batteries. I try to take care of my phone batteries to the best of my ability. You're welcome to disagree with me if you like - this is a community where all opinions are welcome. :)

Well, I wasn't quoting an opinion. I was quoting fact:

But in the long term, electronics will age faster if they're constantly plugged in while already charged to 100 percent.

You won't harm a battery by putting it on charge at night and unplugging it in the morning any more than by charging it to 100% and then unplugging it.

And you're totally allowed to say that.

You're just wrong lol.

Oh heavens no, he's not wrong.

If I screw up and it costs $100 to replace the battery, or if I lost the phone lottery and got a battery that failed early, I'd pay the $100. It's plenty cheap, compared to the alternative.

Remember: tuition in the school of life is not free. TANSTAAFL.

Got a iphone 5 setting in the drawer.
It was charged all the time.
Left on the charger.
Will still work fine.
Battery works fine.
Got a s7e I sold a buddy.
Its charged all the time.
He lived on Facebook on the phone.
Got a power pack to charge it when it gets to 7%.

So I don't agree with you.

Oh yea
Gave my sil a S8+
She lives on it.
Has no internet.
She charged the phone all the time.
Battery is still alive and doing great.
