S10 for wife?

This may be a similar repeat of my last post or question, if so sorry.
My wife had the Moto G6 before she had it stolen. I want to get her a better phone for watching Hulu/Netflix on and taking better photographs. Me and my children are with Cricket, my wife will be added (again) to the plan bringing her phone number. I bought the Galaxy s8 2 yrs ago when it went 1/2 off during Feb, March time frame. Last year they put the s9 1/2 off during same time. I'm thinking that there is a good chance for the s10 model to go on sale for new customers bringing in established phone number. I believe in the past they've been 349.00. I'm wanting better phone for my wife so I'm thinking this is my best option. What are your opinions is there another phone out there that would be as good or better for 400.00 to 450.00 price rang???

I'd say no, no better phone in that range right now--but do understand, midrange phones now are, or can be, absolute killer products.

In fact, I'd say the upcoming "midrange" phones that use the Qualcomm 765 chip, instead of the "flagship" 865+5G chips, will be an absolute killer value.

The Galaxy S9 is still, in my mind, a better phone than the S10 in many many ways. Swappa is my go-to for things like this; the unlocked AND the AT&T branded S9 are available from between $300 and $350 there (mint condition), and it's the easiest and no-risk way to buy a phone.

Unlocked Pixel 3 or 3 XL is a great mid range phone . Battery is not great but a Batt case is easily obtained

You mean 3a and 3a xl pixel midrange phone , the 3 and 3xl are flagship phones

Hi, I was referring to the 3a but at this time you can get a slightly used 3 for a very reasonable price. I am getting ready to post a Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 with Battery Cases on ebay...just FYI.

Agree , you can get a pixel 3 at a reasonable price .
