S10+ paid off, S21/21+ next?

After my two years were up last month with the S10+ I was just going to rock along with it a while longer since it's been a very good phone. But then I started looking at the S21/21+ today and price wise even the S21+ would come in lower than what I was paying for the S10+.

I think the S21 is plenty of phone for me since it's screen is 6.2 vs 6.4 on the S10+. I can't really see any advantage of going to the S21+ as I'm a very light phone user. I don't stream videos or movies or live events on my phone. I don't listen to music through the phone. I'll take the occasional picture or record video every now and then so I want a good camera.

So basically I'm curious if any current S21 users came from a S10+ and how have you liked one versus the other? Or in general how do S21 users like or dislike their phone?

The one thing in particular I'm curious about is this wireless charging. Something about having to buy a brick to charge it with? Does that work with the phone in a case? Is there no port on the phone to run a USB cable out of? If so how does it plug into a car say for Android auto?

Came from note 20 to the regular s21 and perfect size no real difference I highly recommend.

There is a usb c port on the S21. Use it to charge, or connect using Android Auto.

Go for it. I went for the S21 ultra and couldn't be happier. Worth every penny. Just make sure you get the right storage. I went for the 12gb 256 varient. I've already got my storage up to 50%.

After 2 years I'm just at 44.6gb out of 128 on this S10 Plus so I don't think I need the 256 version.

I just got the s21 Ultra with 512 GB. I didn't think they had the 256 because they were saying it was coming in in November and 128 is too small with 108 megapixel camera. So I'm charging up the new phone and the old phone and I'm not looking forward to making this transfer I hate doing this stuff especially since I have to remember passwords. I was surprised that it came with USB - c male to USB-c make and no battery charger. The battery charges I have are all USB to USB-C. What did you use to do the transfer Smart Switch or the AT&T transfer app and what were you using for SMS text messages? I'm using Textra and I don't know what's going to happen with that.

Tonight I went ahead and took advantage of the promotion that Verizon had and ordered a gray S21. I should have it in 10 days or so. Thanks for the recommendations everyone.

Well my new phone arrived yesterday. When I ordered the phone the woman at the Verizon store said they would put the screen protector on for me if I brought it down there. When I arrived at the store there were about a dozen or so people waiting and only two associates to help them. They said it could be an hour or more before they could get to it. So I left and decided I would try it even though I'm not very good at that sort of thing and would probably screw it up.

Now I haven't opened anything yet so I get home and open the screen protector package and there is an orange tray with two tabs at each end and you put the phone in, press the screen protector on the tabs and press down to adhere the protector. But I thought that tray looked rather large. Turns out it's for an ultra or a plus. But the package is labeled correctly. It says "For Samsung S21 5G". So now I'm furious.

There's two Verizon stores in our city but only one is open after I get off of work tonight. So I'm hoping they have the correct screen protector and the time to put it on. If they don't I guess I will have to go without a protector at all since once I get that phone in it's case I don't want to get it out again.
