S10 VS S10 Plus

I am finally going to be upgrading my S8 to an S10. I'm holding off on the S20, because it's too expensive for me. I am wondering which S10, the S10 or the S10 Plus, you chose and why? My understanding is that the only differences between them are the screen size, battery size and the extra selfie cam on the S10 Plus. I don't care about the extra selfie cam. Also, heard that the S10 Plus has a better cooling system than the S10, which is attractive to me, because my S8 gets hot while charging when I'm driving in the warmer months. But, I heard that both S10's are suppose to be really good about not over heating.

Size. The plus is too big for me. I love my S10, and the S20 just doesn't offer me enough to switch.

Size here, too. I have the 10+, and kinda wish I got the standard 10 instead. The 10+ is just over the edge of too big.

I loved my 9+. It was just the right size.

Personally I have the S10+ and I love it!

Mostly I got the S10+ for the Storage Size. I personally got the 512 GB.

I also really like the larger screen size and the stereo speakers

So my personal recommendation would be the S10+.

yuck, the earpiece doubling as a second "speaker". Doesn't do anything of value, in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. The normal S10 doesn't have stereo speakers? Not that it's a big deal to me. I like the size of my S8, so I am considering the S10. Haven't gone to compare the sizes between the S10 and S10 Plus, yet. I like the idea of the bigger battery of the S10 Plus. My buddy has the S10 Plus, which he really likes, but I keep forgetting to ask him why he got it over the S10.

Go compare the two, hold them each in your hand. This is really a personal preference. The S10 is slightly larger than your S8. The S10+, more so.

That's ultimately what I did. The S10 felt a bit small in my hand compared to the S10+.

Without a case, the S10+ is a manageable size, I feel. But I use cases so went with the S10.

If I could do it over again, I actually would've gotten the LG G8 instead!

I use a thin and clear Spigen case most of the time. Once in awhile I'll use an Otterbox Commuter but it's not often.

I opted for the S10+ rather than the LG G8, since I had an LG V20, which I really liked but not the battery life.

Go with a thin case and get the plus. The battery life is a beast and the slightly larger screen is easier on the eyes. Size wise it's still a lot more manageable than a Note plus or the Ultra, IMO.

I went with the LED Samsung case for my S10+. I am glad I got the plus model because it is a fraction smaller than my Pixel 4XL which I found just the right size for me. So the plus wasn't too big for me. I only just got my phone because I got the ceramic 512GB model for just £699 brand new and they sell on discount now from Samsung for £899. This was a huge saving for me. I had liked the S10 series from it launched but held out for the Pixel 4XL. When I saw the offer on the Plus I had to take it up as it was interest free for a year. And I am glad I got it.

That's what I did the other day. You are correct, the S10 is slightly larger than the s8, hardly noticeable to me. The S10 Plus is slightly wider than the S10 and just a little taller.

I use a an Otterbox defender case, because of my work. But, the S10 Plus is only slightly wider than my S8. So, with the Otterbox Defender case on it shouldn't be noticable. I don't have an interest in the Note 10 Plus. That's too huge for me. Thought about the Note 10, but for the price, might as well get the S20.

I went with the S10 + due to the larger battery. I went with the ceramic version with 1Tb of storage and the 12G of ram. So it's been a beast. Lasts all day and I've yet to put in a Sd card. I do download a ton of video and still have plenty of space left. I was tired of constantly deleting apps to install new ones, so went with the biggest storage. It's been a great phone overall!

I, definitely, don't need that much of storage. I never ran out on my S8 with 64GB. Don't even know how much I have used, never needed to check. I do have a Sd card in it which I use.

I just got an s10.. upgraded from an S8 too! it's really good and feels just the right size! I think the plus may be too big.
