I just got a new S2 9.7. ($499)

Just found out that the SquareTrade 3-year no-deductible plan with accidents
is now only $81 on Amazon.

Is it worth it? $81 is about 16% of the $499 purchase price of the S2 9.7.
Doesn't seem bad. I've had SquareTrade before and they paid up very quickly
when my Bose speakers broke and couldn't be repaired. However, I've
never had any Samsung device go bad(knock on wood)....

(disclaimer: nothing I said in this thread or any related replies should be
construed as an endorsement for SquareTrade, Amazon, or any other
vendor.... purchase at your own risk)

It's a good deal if you're planning to use the S2 9.7 for the next three years. If you plan to sell it after a year and buy something else, then the extra warranty may or may not be worth it.

agreed... then again, it will probably pay for itself if I just drop it once. a screen glass replacement is at least $200 parts&labor.

I bought the plan... there are worse ways that I can waste $81. :) besides, they'll give me a refund if I change my mind within 30 day.
