S2 reboots vibrates every 2sec black screen

Hi. My brother has a galaxy s2 when the put the bat back in the phone turns on goes to the rogers screen for a moment then goes black and continues to vibrate. does anyone know of a fix for this. he is in university and need his phone as he has all his teacher contacts stored on it......

Sounds like stuck power button

its seems to be working fine. it clicks when i press it..... is there anything i should try to see if it really is stuck....
