S2 smartwatch heartrate

Hi. Does anyone know if the S2 smartwatch can be set to automatically update you of your heartrate whilst running? It can be done but it has to be promped to do it which is a bit inconvenient. When you are doing interval training it would be good to get automatick update, but I don't know if any app will allow you to do this (S Health, Nike etc).

If you go into the SHealth app on the watch and go into the settings you can set the auto heart rate measuring to off, moderate, or frequent. Moderate is supposed to check once an hour and frequent is supposed to check every 10 minutes. I've got mine set to moderate but it's kind of hit or miss. Some of the watch faces you can hit to take a reading without having to go into the heart rate widget. I wish there was a way to start a workout and have it track more frequently or even constantly but I don't think it's really made for that, I imagine it would be a pretty big battery drain if it was possible.
