Hi
Today i bought a new s20 fe 5g snapdragon 865
I ran the geekbench 5 test and the result was
Single core: 570
Multi core: 3167

I had a s20 plus exynos and the result in single core was 917 and multi core was 2700

I am very disappointed, is the phone having a problem?
Thks

I don't really know what you can do... It seems off... Maybe try another app or way to judge. Is the phone misbehaving or performance is bad? That's most important

Personally, I don't trust, or put much substance into apps that measure what's going on inside a cell phone...unless it is written by a truly expert developer who has the resources to test the apps default baseline setting against an accepted measurement. Even then, if they do function reasonably well, the chip sets in most modern phones are far and away faster than any piece of software can even utilize. So it's really a non-issue unless your phone is stuttering, or crashing regularly.

Mine doesnt seem to have any problems. Ran the test few times and the best result was 906 for single core and 3238 for multi core. Maybe you tested the phone while it was in power saving mode and the cpu performance was reduced to 70% or maybe the phone was used heavily before, heated up or consumed a lot of battery quickly and the power was dialed down to avoid overheating. Maybe you should give it a cold run with performance mode on and see the difference
