S20/S20+ issues?

Hello all. I am looking to potentially pick up either a standard S20, or an S20+ to use primarily as my backup device. The reason I am looking at these two in particular is the price. They are currently around 220 dollars in mint condition online. Another plus is the fact that they still support micro SD card expansion. Updates are not an issue for me, as I said this will be a backup device.

That said, I have seen loads of people exclaiming to have screen issues with their S20+. Mostly either a green line in the screen, or in some cases, the "white screen of death." I have heard that this is primarily an issue in Exynos-based S20+ devices, and the standard S20 doesn't seem to have this issue as frequently.

Is there any truth to this? Has anyone here who has had/has an S20+ experienced anything like this? I will probably get the S20, but I'd much rather have the S20+ in all practicality due to larger screen size and battery.

My S20+ (an AT&T version) has been flawless. My son's S20+ and my wife's S20 were both also flawless. There is a definite difference in battery life between the S20 and S20+ with the latter being much better. I remember reading about the screen issues but none of our S20s had that issue. Definitely go for the S20+ if possible.

FWIW, my wife went to the S22 because she needed dual SIM. The S22 has not been as stable as the S20 was, to the point that after a second replacement phone she went to an S23+. The S23+ is still not as stable as her S20 was.

So weird... The only thing that concerns me is the fact that the device I am looking at is from Swappa, and only has a 15 day return policy, with no warranty. But I have dealt with this seller in the past, with mostly positive experience. In fact, when I had an issue with screen burn on the Note 9 I had bought, despite it being outside the return period, they sent me another one anyways.

Well, the S20+ is still available at 217 dollars. They also have a regular S20 for 210 dollars.
Not sure which one to get...

I've had a S20+5G for about 2 yrs now. Knock on wood, no issues with anything. It is fast, charges fast and is a step up from my S10+.
