s20 ultra notifications disappear

please help. For some reason when I get notifications they flash up then disappear. This is so annoying as if I'm not looking at my phone then I'll miss the notification.

Do you have a watch connected to the phone?

I don't have anything connected. Weirdly my email notifications come through and stay visible until I clear them. All others disappear

Is this on lock screen or while in the pone ?

Also make sure in system settings >notifications >status bar its toggle on for all notifications

You try rebooting your phone ?

If that doesn't work , go system settings >apps >3 dots upper right corner tap >reset app preferences.
