It looks pretty cool. I'm just not a fan of those flip covers. But it's cool that Samsung is already thinking ahead in that regard, with things like accessories.

I too noticed that the S Pen was big! It looks nice!

I haven't seen anyone address how the pen gets recharged, or whether old Note pens are compatible.

My guess it still uses Bluetooth LE... the charge strip or whatever it is will be on side left side of phone and just need to place pen next to it to conduct/charge.

I say left side because if you bought a case, it makes sense they set it up where it's charging when in the slot built into the case. But if you aren't buying the case, you'll still be able to charge by placing pen to left side for a minute to charge.

That's an interesting way to charge the Pen. Can you tell I've never used one before? Lol.

My Tab S7+ stylus charges like that. A magnetic strip built into the tablet charges it. Charging is optional though. Only need to charge it if you need to use it as a remote for the tablet.

So the S Pen for the S21 doesn’t support Bluetooth features... just a plain pen. So no charging needed I guess.

But they announced an S Pen “Pro” in the future that will support Bluetooth features and gestures. Sounds more expensive.

I saw that too. The S21 isn't a cheap phone and the regular spen doesn't come out until later in the year. Why not just wait and buy the Note 21 in August that has the full functioning Spen? Seems kinda silly to buy the S21 then if it's not until later in the year when you can just buy the Note and the pen is built in too.

I'm not gonna bother with this stick that basically just writes and draws.

Because waiting for the Note21 means going without the S21 Ultra's camera and display improvements for the next several months, and many of us don't even use the S-Pen's air gestures. (I will slightly miss the pen's remote-shutter capability, but voice commands and hand gestures for selfies are good enough in the meantime.)
