S21 Ultra and Android Auto.

Anybody else having issues connecting to Android Auto with the S21 Ultra or any of the S21 variants for that matter?

My Z Fold 2 and Note 20 Ultra connect perfectly but every time I plug in my S21 Ultra it searches for the phone forever then says "please connect a phone with Android Auto app installed". I've done everything I can think of. Cleared cache and storage on Android Auto. Uninstalled updates and reinstalled. Even went as far as factory resetting the phone.

It took a little work to connect my S21U to my Honda. I had to play around with which device initiates the BT connection. Took about 3 minutes to figure out.

Yea, BT is not the issue here. And i've spent hours. Even tried a different USB cable and no go.

Love the device, but this will keep me using the Note 20 Ultra until there is a fix or I get this figured out. Can't think of any reason why it'd work on my other two devices but not this one.

So far no issues with mine. I used smartswitch so just plugged in since remembered blutooth, etc. I did have to click thru setup screens on AA.

Nope mine connected right away to my 2017 civic

Plugged it into a 2019 RAM 1500 and a 2018 Mazda3 GT while no issues. Picked it up right away.

2020 GMC Sierra AT4. Again works completely fine with my N20 Ultra, Z Fold2, and I even pulled my Pixel 4xl and it works fine. I don't get what it is with this device not connecting.

I haven't tried with my s21u but I had exactly the same issues with my old phone (moto one zoom) on my own merc and my wife's range rover. She had same phone as me and same issues in both cars. And despite trying several different cables, stable connection was rare. Thankfully my work phone is iPhone and carplay was faultless. I've just got everything set up with carplay so probably won't even try android auto with s21u
