S21 Ultra S pen

Hello all. I was looking into getting the official S pen for the S21U. Not the super one, as I don't need bluetooth features. But I do enjoy using for scrolling, notes etc. I did read that some people had some issues with the material on it wearing out really quickly and not working properly.

Anyone had anything like this happen? I also wonder if I could just get an s pen for another Note device like the Note 9, Note 10, Note 20 etc. I know you can store those inside their respective devices and they would be charged. But, given that I don't need bluetooth functionality, would it matter?

Luckily, the S21 Ultra doesn't have a silo, so that isn't an issue.

OP, any S-Pen will work, but you may want to consider one of the ones designed for a tablet as they are much bigger and nicer to use.

Here is a Samsung S pen I have I believe it's from the Note 4 but it could be the Note 2. But it does say Samsung on it so it's from one of them. It doesn't work with the s21 ultra. I don't know if you can see it but it has a white tip.

You can't erase bad postings, is that correct? The final picture is the best one and notice there is a little push button on the S pen that can be pressed and I'm wondering if that's what throws off the s21 ultra?

I have actually requested the S21 Ultra specific S pen for Christmas. Should be a little more comfortable to hold considering it's more like a real pen. Amazon has had good pricing on it lately.

I had debated about whether I should get an S pen case or not, but honestly, I don't really use it enough to care.

The S21 Ultra uses the newer Wacomm digitizer tech so VERY old S-Pens are likely not going to work (i.e. a Note 2 pen).

I would guess that any S pen older than the one in the Note 8 probably won't work. Then again, I don't know of many people who would have these laying around anyways lol

Well, I received this today for Christmas. More than content with this, as opposed to having a newer device like the S22 Ultra just for the built in S pen.
