S21 worth upgrading to from note 8?

I've had the note 8 for almost 3.5 years and it's worked fine since then though the battery life isn't as good as it used to be, I assume some apps and stuff dont load as fast as newer phones, and I have older tech.

My phone works fine so I dont need to upgrade, but I wouldn't have mind upgrading to the latest tech (S21 Ultra) and get the samsung promotions that are going on where I can trade in and get the phone for around $28-29 a month.

What do you guys think? Are there some good and even necessary reasons to upgrade or should I keep waiting?

You have to compare your usage now to what you would gain from the new phone and make the decision. My wife is happy with her S9. Then we looked at the benefits she would gain from the S21 by trading it in to T-Mobile and it was a no-brainer. New 5G with newer hardware and software with 3 years of updates. You should step back examine your situation and decide for yourself
