I had this visitor earlier today in the front yard. I took the pic on my S22U at 10x zoom. thought I'd try Bixby Vision to identify the bird and, son of a gun, it nailed it. Cooper's hawk. (very impressed) 20221117_124223.jpg

Oi... Well, if you're a fan of Samsung things, you may be in for a new search for a phone soon since Sammy and Google are slowly integrating a lot of their own stuff and the rest is likely also going to MS services.

I wouldn't mind seeing more pixel features heading to Samsung, although I think Google will keep the best stuff for themselves. Samsung makes awesome hardware with tons of customizing options, but I don't trust them with my data. As it is I use both, but lean pretty heavily towards the pixel side.

I'm a fan of things that work and work consistently. If, for some reason, I were to move away from Samsung, I might be a Pixel buyer, but then I'd use MSFT apps whenever possible. My observation is that Google simply can't leave well enough alone with their offerings. (I was a Google user well before I went to Samsung.) It's a shame that HTC and LG are no longer players in this space. True competition can be a very good thing.

Or I just give up and go become an Apple fan boy.
