S23 Ultra - scratches too easily?

Anyone else had this problem? I think the S23 Ultra scratches more easily than ANY device I've ever had. I always keep mine in my front right pocket, with NOTHING else in there besides my phone. Everything else, wallet, keys, etc, I keep in my other pocket. And yet, still, my device still gets scratched. Not only scratched, but I now have two super deep scratches from I don't know what.

I don't like using screen protectors due to the curved screen, and I'm not a fan of built in ones in cases because they decrease the quality of the screen when viewing. But crap, man.. I may have to figure something out here.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I would never contemplate using a phone without a screen protector and a bumper cover.

I've always used White Stone Dome screen protectors on curved screens but they are little involved in applying them . I don't like screen protectors but I like to have my device protected.

Regardless, I still find it crazy. My S23U has TONS of deep scratches, whereas my S21 Ultra.. really doesn't.

None, and just a film screen protector.

I do have a 7 year old, though.
