S24+ and other plus variants

It seems in recent years, sort of starting with the S24+, in terms of plus variant devices, they are starting to beef them up a bit more again.

I'd say the S24+ is the first model in years I'd consider over the Ultra model honestly. I have an S23 Ultra and an S21 Ultra.
However, when I go to "upgrade" devices in the future, I think I'll just get a plus model.
I don't care about the S-pen, and I prefer the "rounded" style of the older S-style devices, like that of the S21 Ultra and other plus models.
A flat screen with a rounded design is just the way to go IMO.

That said, it seems like in recent years, the S23+/24+/25+ are basically the same with minor upgrades. They haven't changed the camera design or specs in years. And from the looks of it... The S26+ also seems to be mostly unchanged.

Obviously, the camera quality and functions on the Ultra models will always generally be better.... But, is the camera on the S24+ good?

I've always had the ultra models when they came out. When the s24+ was released I switched it up because it has everything the ultra has that I wanted minus the pen and camera upgrades. I also like the rounded look instead of the square. The camera is serviceable but coming from an ultra you can feel the downgrade especially in zoom scenarios. Normal camera use is great. Now that the ultras are becoming more rounded than square hopefully I will be able to switch back.
