S24 camera photo focus and blurriness issues?

I have a standard S24 (not ultra) and I'm waiting to see reviews, etc, on the S25 Ultra when it's released, but I have problems with the camera. Are there any optimisation settings or anything like that for the S24 camera for photos? Whether I use 12MP or 50MP and 4:3, widescreen and so on, if I try to take a very close up photo of something like for example a barcode or a plant, it'll be slightly blurry no matter what, even when trying to get it to focus for a few seconds. I've tried other phones like iPhone 15 Pro, latest Pixel and they seem better by default with taking photos.

Anyone know if there's any settings that can improve this? I saw some suggestions, and changing "Intelligence Optimisation" settings from Maximum to Minimum didn't help. Phone is fully updated as well and the lens are clean and there's no issue with that aspect.

Zoom in a little before framing and taking the pic. The sweet spot on my S24U is 2.9x right before it switches lenses.

How close are you to the subject of the photo? For close photos, it's been my experience that anything over a 4.9% zoom will decrease clarity.

Yup, that's why I said 2.9x before the Ultra switches to the 3x optical zoom... You'll have to test and find the sweet spot with other phones/lenses and the distance. Trial and error.
